Hey guys it%26#39;s me again (aren%26#39;t you tired of me?? LOL)
I have read that the water levels are best in the spring, but that sometimes there are places that are canoeable in the fall. Our trip is looking like the last week in September or the first week in October - does anyone know if there would be some canoeable rivers at that time? Or will the water be too low?

Never get tired of you....Lol%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;..
The buffalo would be the best to canoe, there are several places to rent canoes and maybe a cabin.

It should be really beautiful on the Buffalo in the fall.
I hope these links help a little.
Canoeing - end of September/early OctoberThe lower Buffalo is usually canoeable in the fall. If you want to camp on the river, and avoid crowds, the stretch from Rush to the White River (I suggest takeout at Norfolk) should have adequate water. It is not the most scenic stretch of this awesome river (no high bluffs) but it%26#39;s a real nice stretch and very isolated with normally few visitors except near the White. Days trips 65 bridge or Buffalo Point to Rush will be canoeable with maybe a few short walks and real nice bluffs.
