Historic Cottage at Lake Lucerne

I was wondering if anyone here had ever stayed at the Hisotoric Cottages at Lake Lucerne. I believe they are owned by the same people who own the Peabody House.

We will be staying at the Bayberry Cottage in December and just wanted to see if anyone had any experiences, good or bad.

Historic Cottage at Lake Lucerne

Yes, I stayed in the Bayberry last thanksgiving - nov 06 - and it was great! stayed 3 nites -

very clean and if it is just two couples or no more than 4 staying in house there is plenty of room. the kitchen is great if you are planning on doing any kind of cooking,,,,i cooked my full thanksgiving dinner while staying.

the picture window in the living room looks out on the pond and with the late fall we had last yr was very tranquil to sit and look out and watch the birds and squirrels and leaves falling -

have a great time and if you have not been to eureka springs before, i suggest - go to turpentine creek out 23n within a few miles of town and see the tigers and other items in the large cat santuary - go to war eagle mill and eat breakfast or lunch - out 23n and about a 30 minute drive at most - shopping - vintage cargo and something simple - there are plenty of choices with places to eat -
