Nightlife??

A few couples (age: 40%26#39;s %26amp; 50%26#39;s) will be motorcycle riding in the area and staying in Hot Springs.

We are looking for nice bars for evening libations and to just hang %26amp; meet people. Maybe some light entertainment.

Is there a strip of bars/restaurants? Some suggested nice friendly/neighborhood type bars? Not into dance clubs.

Nightlife??

Unfortunately I don%26#39;t have much information about nightlife in Hot Springs and I would love to know the answer to this question as I go there every other June. However, I would love to invite you to motorcycle up Highway 7 or up the Pig Trail to the Northwest Arkansas area. You might enjoy Eureka Springs or Fayetteville. Fayetteville hosts www.bikesbluesandbbq.com in the fall that benefits local charities.

Nightlife??

Mike, we are usually with our 11 year old when in Hot Springs and I don%26#39;t know the bars. If you will be there this month or early next month, you might enjoy Oaklawn Park Race Track. Thjey have surprisingly good food and drink. A friend recommended these three bars but said they are associated with restaurants. He said that HS is basically a resort community and they did not really have a lot of ';neighborhood bars.'; Two of them are at a place called Spencer%26#39;s Corner, a kind of mini-Ghiardelli complex of shops down town at 801 Central Avenue - Brickhouse Grill and Brauhaus. The third place he mentioned is KJ%26#39;s on the lake but I have been unable to locate it on the web. I%26#39;d suggest you make Spencer%26#39;s Corners a starting place. There are several restaurants and some associated bars on the next block and a few more up Central Avenue. Hot Springs is a smaller city but it has some interesting surprises. Bath House Row is just up Central from Spencer%26#39;s Corner. There you can ride or walk by the historic bath houses (many closed). On a nice day, stroll behind the bath houses on a very nice park walkway, fill up your water bottles with the spring water for free, tour the restored Fordyce Bath House.

Thanks for the replies!!

Regards

Mike

Mike you might try contacting the folks at the following Arkansas motorcycle sites. Hot Springs is a popular destination for bikers due to the curvy scenic roads leading there. I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll find some friendly folks willing to provide their opinions on laid back quiet bars in HS. Let us know here what you find out.
