When is the slowest time in Mountain Home for tourists? We like a more quiet atmosphere.
Off seasonAny time after September 1st or before the 4th of July. It really is never that busy in town or on lake Norfork.
There are some nice small resorts. Try Labos%26#39;s. It has 2 houses and very private. Just a short distance from the lake. Also Blackburns resort. Nice cabins. Nothing fancy but nice.
You could also stay at Genes fishing resort. It is on the White River.
Maybe I should just say, anytime here is nice. If you like cooler weather, now is the time.
If you come to town make sure you stop in the Moose Lodge on HWY 5 south. They will make you feel like you lived here forever.. Nice folk.....
