We will be spending one night in the downtown area. Not looking for anything cheap, but don%26#39;t want to spend over $100 either. Any help would be appreciated.
Hotel in Safe AreaIf price is a major consideration try the La Quinta at 6th and Broadway. For a better location in the River Market District look at the Courtyard on President Clinton Avenue.
Hotel in Safe AreaMembers of the group are smokers, and as best as I can tell, it seems Marriott hotels are now all smoke-free.
The Courtyard is smoke free as are all Marriott properties.
How is the La Quinta Inn Little Rock West on Shackleford?
You ask:

I don%26#39;t know anything about this hotel except that it%26#39;s a long way from downtown.
I personally would probably lean toward the LaQuinta property off Rodney Parham at Breckenridge, because they have indoor corridors rather than the balcony outdoor corridors typical of most LaQuintas (including the one on Shackelford). Both locations are in West Little Rock which is generally a pretty good area. I would probably stay away from the LaQuinta on Fair Park Blvd.
You can%26#39;t go wrong with west little rock for the most part...It%26#39;s not really all that far from down town..I work all over town..So it will take around 15 minutes or so to get downtown from there...
I think we are going to go with the La Quinta at Rodney Parham, the inside corridors swayed me. Thank you guys for all the help. I really appreciate it.
