Any suggestions for a group of girls wanting to have a spa trip?
We%26#39;d like to have a nice hotel, either with spa/bath treatments onsite, or in walking distance.
What is the best area of town for this, as well as shopping, bar scene, etc.?

If you want new, stay at Embassy Suites. Their spa is very nice. If you want quaint and character, stay at the Arlington. Both are downtown although the Arlington is right in the middle of downtown. You will find excellent shopping downtown at the Villa and other stores. Also, if you like spicy food, eat at Rolandos.
Uptown, shopping is mostly located around the bypass (TJ MAxx, Belk, Sharons, Pier One,etc) although there are restaurants and shops all the way up Central.
Garvan Gardens is a nice place for an afternoon stroll if you like that sort of thing.
I can%26#39;t speak to the bar scene. I know The Attic seems to popular but I don%26#39;t know anything about it.

Hot Springs Girls Trip Suggestions?I agree w/ both of kate11razorback%26#39;s hotel choices. I have stayed at both and they are great.
As for shopping, the Villa downtown is wonderful and Sharon%26#39;s is excellent, too. I%26#39;m best friends w/ Sharon%26#39;s daughter and she does a lot of the buying for the store. There are clothes for every age there w/ great brands (BCBG, Trina Turk, Seven for all Mankind, etc.). You can%26#39;t go wrong if you include these shops on your trip!
