Growth in Greers Ferry

Can anybody tell me if the Greers Ferry area is on the way for fast growth.

we were there a couple of months back, and stayed in a wonderful cottage on the lake, And we went to the town of greers ferry and heber springs and it seems to me that there is not a lot of change and growth taking place. It is a great place to spend a vacation, and a quiet area to live. But I just don%26#39;t think it will ever have a real big boom in growth.

You can certainly see signs of development in Heber. It%26#39;s healthy and desirable. An office mate moved his family up there from Little Rock and loves it. But the real growth is NW Arkansas. That%26#39;s where the business is and there are no signs of slowing. Whether the ';quality of life'; is improving with the growth in NW is not clear.

All towns grow to some degree, I just don%26#39;t really see that area booming to a point of being to over crowded, and changing what is special about the area.....I have been going there for years, and it truely is a wonderful area to spend a little time relaxing, or even to live......

Walleye fishing is the best here-Growth is taking place all over but has slowed down due to the economy and the people in other states having problems selling their homes.
