looking for rustic lodging with good beds!

Hello,

We are planning a trip in the third week of July, 4 adults and 3 children.

We are doing the magic springs thing again this year. Last year we stayed in the cabins on the Koa campgrounds which is in walking distance of magic springs. Although the scenery was nice and we enjoyed the friendly staff, the beds were simply horrible. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good b%26amp;b or a resort with a rustic setting? Also must be kid friendly!

thanks

A few years ago we rented a cabin at Five Points Lake Hamilton. The cabins are rustic and set in the woods near the lake, but the beds were very comfortable. The owner was extremely nice, too.

Overall, we had a really nice experience there, and I wouldn%26#39;t hesitate to recommend them.

Thanks!! This is exactly what I was looking for. We reserved the two story/two bed room model,. Besides magic springs we plan on taking the kids hiking and doing many other outside activities for the nine days we are staying there. Besides hiking and fishing and advise on what would be a fun activities to do?

I%26#39;m afraid I don%26#39;t have any suggestions that would be useful for you.

We went for 4 days at Thanksgiving, and we went mainly for the LSU-Arkansas football game. The other big thing we did there was go to the holiday lighting display at the arboretum. Other than that, we just visited the shops in town and hiked.

There is the mountain tower near magic springs....

It has an awesome view ........

The Midamerica museum is a good place for kids - educational and fun. My daughter is eleven and has enjoyed it over and over since she was about 4 or 5. The downtown tourist bureau usually has some coupons for reduced entry in their handout literature.

My husband and I stay at the edgewater cabin it is on Lake Hamilton. Nice couple run the cabins. They are by the airport and they have a web page. We have stay there the last couple of years.

We are going to be there next week.

Go to hot spring web page
