I just got back from a vacation in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas.
This was a family vacation with nine people. We rented a beautiful cabin south of Jasper, which is south of Harrison ,Arkansas. The cabin was fantastic. It was about 1 1/2 miles off a paved road, so it was secluded and serene. We had 125 acres to explore. This is a wildlife sanctuary. We saw all types of birds, and deer every morning. It even had a small river with a great swimming hole. We cooked every meal but one there, and the kitchen had every appliance and gadget needed to do so. If your looking for a place to stay near the Buffalo National River, this is a great one.
