Hello Everyone-
I%26#39;m preparing for a trip to Eureka Springs for Labor day. We have 6 people headed down for 3 days. The home we%26#39;re renting has a grill to use and a kitchen. We%26#39;re wanting to cook quite a bit when we%26#39;re there. Where is the closest grocery store?
We%26#39;re looking to buy steaks, hamburger, brats. I%26#39;ve heard the name Hart%26#39;s and Basin Park had this listed.
Anybody know of a good butcher or grocery store, does Hart%26#39;s have good stuff?
Thanks.

Grocery Stores in Eureka Springs [Hart's, etc] Question
Harts is right in town we have never shopped there for anything other than sodas %26amp; water so I dont know much about their meat dept.
The wal-mart is in Berryville and it has your typical wal-mart meat dept.
Sun-Fest is out on HI while I have not shopped there I have head good things about the store.
I would choose the store closest to where you are staying OR you can always pack an ice chest and bring your meat from home and then buy the fixins when you get into town... Just a thought
Not sure I was much help....
Hope you have a GREAT Labor Day weekend!
Grocery Stores in Eureka Springs [Hart's, etc] Question
Hart%26#39;s and Sunfest both have good meat departments with pretty good selection of items. I have shopped both of them and would recommend to use whichever one is closer to where you are staying.
Hi,
Sun Fest has the best deli in the area. They serve Boarshead Meat, and will also do fried chicken, etc., The meat department has more staff to make your specific meat selection. Sun Fest is much farther north from Eureka Springs though.
There is also the Eureka Market, the local organic food store. They have frozen organic meats and fish.
Harts does have a meat dept but not a deli. They have most of the meats you desire, mostly brands you will be familiar with.
Sometimes when we visit Eureka, we bring our own foods, but we have found that the prices and selections at the local stores make it rather unneccesary.
There is a farmer%26#39;s market on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, for fresh local veggies.
Be aware, that if your accommodations are out at Beaver Lake, it can be quite a drive back to the grocery store.
Hope this is all helpful.
2ays since twinmom was taken.
