Girls weekend in Eureka Springs

My 4 sisters and I are traveling to either Eureka Springs or Hot Springs in mid-November. I would love suggestions on things to do and places to stay. We range in age from 34 to 49. Will Eureka Springs be somewhat closed up for the season?

Thanks so much for your suggestions!

Girls weekend in Eureka Springs

Well IMHO anytime is a GREAT time to visit ES. The town should still be in full swing in November getting ready for the Holidays.

Lodging-you didnt specify, did you want a hotel/motel,cottage or a B%26amp;B suite type lodging,downtown/historic district or attraction area of town?

Here a few that come to mind that may want to look into further

Wildflower Cottage

Dogwood cottage has a lovely 2story cottage #8 or single story family Cabin #7

Sweetseasons has The Little Chateau cottage or a townhouse Wishing Star (street level) Hummingbird Haven (downstairs) just to name a few of the choices there

The Bodie House Located down spring St

We have 2 favorite motel/hotels in town one is the Comfort Inn a Choice Hotel-they offer a very nice breakfast- included in price of room. The second is Best Western Eureka Inn which comes with a cooked to order breakfast. Both Places have VERY Clean rooms.

As for things to do:

Forgot to mention-Have a Works Massage at The Palace Bath House

Thanks so much, PastaSalad! Your suggestions are wonderful. I am looking into all of your lodging suggestions right now.

I wanted to add There is always the majestic Cresent Hotel-you can take a ghost tour or have sunday brunch or visit Dr Bakers Lounge for a nite cap...

If you have anymore Q%26#39;s about places or locations let us know.

yanno as I thought about great places for you and your sisters the Zachary house came in mind as well-it would be perfect for all of you. You know I just had to confuse ya more ;-)

Have you found a place yet? If not, try The Perch. It is a fantastic house with 3 bedrooms (2 King, 1 Queen) and 3 full baths. There is plenty of room for all of you to spread out and has a wonderful back porch with outdoor table and chairs for 6 and a 6 person hot tub! It is tucked into a quiet addition of Eureka Springs but just a one half mile from all the Shopping, Shows and Dinning. The best part is that the price is very reasonable and your Hostess could not be sweeter! We stayed there last December and loved it!

This October, I am going with my sisters and mother and staying in the Little Chatuea. It has three bedrooms (one you have to climb a ladder to get up to) and 1 bath. It also has an outdoor hot tub. The living space is very small but the location makes up for size if you are wanting something on the ';Loop'; in the Historic District. It is the only cottage on the loop with it%26#39;s own driveway so another plus there. You can find it and other good places like ';Wishing Star'; on SweetSeasons.com . If you want something on the lake, look at ';The Great Escape';. I go to ';Girls Weekend Away'; every year with friends and that is the only place they want to stay at.

There are so many places! I know you are going to have a great time no matter where you stay!

Enjoy : )
