Enchanted Cottages?

These cottages seem to be just what we are looking for, based on their website. We are planning on celebrating our fourth anniversary and want to have a romantic and relaxing time. I love that they have hot tubs outside, with a view. Does anyone have any experience with either the Birdsong or Windchime? Or, any recommendations for a cozy, private cottage-type place in or near downtown?

Enchanted Cottages?

Hi Stacy-

Some friends of ours stayed at enchanted cottages(I cant remember which cottage it was) they enjoyed thier time there-they only had 1 complaint, not as close to the d/t area as ';They'; would have liked(they wanted to walk out the door and be right downtown)-but everyone is different as to what they percieve as close enough-so with that said I think its a great choice and our friends have reccomended EC to several of our friends

Here are a few more you may want to add to your list of possible choices

The Peabody House

Cottage Downtown

Mimosa Cottage

The Benton Place(look at the Benton Suite-the pics dont do it justice)

Oak Crest Treehouses and Cottages(not downtown-but worth a look)

A Garden of Dreams(also not downtown but a wonderfully romantic place)

Lastly Twilight Terrace-

Enchanted Cottages?

Last year my husband and I went to Eureka Springs and stayed at Sherwood Court, http://www.sherwoodcourt.com/, which was really great. There was a whirlpool jacuzzi bathtub (for 2) in the cottage we stayed in. The room was really nice. There are a lot of cute little places to stay around there. Make sure you eat at Myrtie Mae%26#39;s. They have THE BEST buffet (we ate there for a Sunday brunch and it was wonderful). It is in the Best Western (I believe). There was also a great Italian place we tried that was in an old house. I think my husband found them in the forums here.

Myrtie maes does have a good buffet-very good and very reasonable! unless your staying through monday and can afford the cresents buffet(It%26#39;s so worth the expierence with the Champange brunch) and Myrtie maes is in the best western but it is not the BW Eureka Inn it is the Best western Inn of the Ozarks

We have stayed at Sherwood Court before and can vouch that they are a wonderful place-they have a few motel type rooms then some larger type cottages with 2 beds, some romantic cottages(even a log cabin cottage with a red heart shaped jacuzzi) they have one family cottage with a kitchenette. A very pretty property-lots of green rolling landscape.

forgot to add...I bet the wonderful Italian Place was Ermilios

http://www.ermilios.com/

There is a new place in town Called Cafe Amore%26#39; that is very good as well...
