Can anyone please describe the weather in Horseshoe Bend during mid-November (week before Thanksgiving)? Especially whether it rains much during that time.
Also, does anyone have experience with the Crown Point Resort and condominiums? (Reviews of this resort are pretty sparse on tripadvisor.) We are a family of 5 with children ages 9-12 considering staying here that week.
We are understand the area is somewhat rural. Are there any outdoor nature walk / sporting activities in the area? Any trails for bicycling? Or horse trail riding?
Thanks for any responses!
November Weather in Horseshoe Bend (Crown Point)?
In November it can be rainy and cold, or cool and clear, or anything in between...it%26#39;s transitional that time of year. This is at the very tail end of our Fall season, so the leaves will be mostly gone.
I%26#39;ve never been to Crown Point or Horseshoe bend, just around it. Yes, the area around there is very rural. I%26#39;ve been to Hardy, Mt. View and other towns that have a tourist trade, you should be able to find enough in that area to do if you%26#39;re willing to travel and do your homework, although some attractions are winding down. There will probably be a modern gun deer hunting season on while you%26#39;re there, the local folks will be out in the woods hunting.

Thanks for the response, Arknsstrvller! It would appear not to be a good time to head to N. Arkansas. I will see about re-arranging my plans.
