My husband and I are thinking about booking a cabin at Rock Cottage Gardens in the next few weeks. Can anyone gives us their input on these cabins. They look charming from the website.

Just a general comment since I have not stayed here. Some of the old cottages/motels/B%26amp;B%26#39;s along the historic loop highway 62, as nice as they are, are kind of close to the road - which can get busy. Their websites don%26#39;t really explain this. If this makes a difference to you, you might inquire about it.

Rock Cottage Gardens are on the Historic Loop-not real heavily traveled-everything in Eureka Springs is at a slower pace,so i dont think traffic would be a big issue at this establishment-I mean where else can you go and not find a stoplight in the whole town!
Rock Cottage Gardens are a B%26amp;B Inn meaning you get breakfast every morning but have the privacy of a cottage-We havent stayed there but did attend a wedding at the Chapel(on the premises) and their lil cottages are oh so cute! If i remember correctly I saw the Lady Susan cottage and thought it was worth every penny our friends spent for lodging.
2 other places you may want to consider Treehouse cottages

Evening Shade Inn
http://www.eveningshade.com/
both are in the same price range as Rock cottages and equally as beautiful!
Let us now if you need ore help
pasta salad, not trying to be argumentative but 62 can get busy when motorcyclists and others are coming through the beautiful Eureka historic loop. I have experienced this, though not at these nice cabins. You are correct, the noise in ES may not be comparable to larger cities. In general, inquiries to management about view and noise issues before booking reservations anywhere can often result in learning about the alternative rooms available and having win-win travel experiences.
no problem jimjade-my expierence with RCG was during the day,not as an overnite guest.
