Hot Springs Nightlife

My husband and I will be visiting Hot Springs Thanksgiving weekend to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. It will be our first weekend getaway since the births of our children (3-1/2 and 20 months). We are looking to relax and unwind but also let our hair down a little.

Where do you suggest we go for a fun night on the town? We love live music (rock, pop, R%26amp;B) or playing pool, and would like to enjoy a couple of drinks after dinner. We%26#39;re staying at the Wildwood B%26amp;B, so something within walking distance from there would be ideal.

Also, any suggestions for lunch/dinner? I%26#39;ve always gone to the Hamilton House for dinner but I understand it%26#39;s closed now. We like any type food and appreciate good service. Looking for two or three casual restaurants and one or two fine dining.

A couple of places I%26#39;ve read about and am considering for a romantic dinner:

Chef Paul%26#39;s

Bella Arti

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

There is really not much walking distance from Wildwood. I am about to call Wildwood for Thanksgiving weekend myself. It may be too late, but Its our anniversary and we stayed there when we got married so I have to try. For live music, Boogies is good for rock. They typically have a live band on weekends. Its kind of small, and gets crowded, but I like it. Fishermans Warf is a good place to eat, but its way out the other side of town. Bella Arti is good, thats where we ate after the wedding, and theres a steak house right close to Bella Arti thats supposed to be very good.....cant recall the name right now. If I get reservations, the we will see you there.

As of about a year ago the hamilton house was open on weekends

only as a restaurant, but it is a bed and breakfast inn now also. We stayed there one night and enjoyed it

Don%26#39;t plan on walking anywhere from Wildwood, but the drive is very short to the downtown area.

Yes, Hamilton House is open but you need to call and make reservations for dinner.

The steak house on the same block as Bella Arti is called The Porterhouse %26amp; is very nice for a special dinner. (700 block)

You also may want to check out Rolando%26#39;s (it%26#39;s in the 200 or 300 block on Central)

music/bar info for downtown on Central...

Capone%26#39;s (300 or 400 block)

Maxines (700 block)

Lucky%26#39;s (700 block)

when you get into town pick up a copy of The Springs newspaper (free all over town) and inside on 1st page it will list bar/band info with phone numbers.
