Any restaurants recommended for dinner? Nothing fancy, just good local food.

Here are the comments by my longtime Pocahontas friends:

1. Sale Barn Cafe. Yes, they actually sell animals here and cook good food as well. My friend says ';excellent breakfasts and lunches with a good salad bar and other selections.'; Head south on Old County Road from Walmart, turn right at 4-way stop. My friend adds ';Don%26#39;t go on Tuesday as that%26#39;s when they have the actual animal sales!';

2. Imperial Theater: Dinner and surpisingly excellent productions by a group of professional actors.

3. Don%26#39;s Steak House and El Acapaco both just ';ok';.

4. Unfortunately she cannot remember its name but suggests a good barbeque and catfish place on Hwy 67 ';toward Walnut Ridge';... ';Sits off by itself just off the highway';.

Well, Bless Your Heart! Thanks so much for your advice. We%26#39;ll check all of them out when we arrive. Sounds great. What a wonderful place to visit! Really looking forward to it.

Bonanza is on Hwy 67 just south of Pocahontas, on the way to Walnut Ridge. We used to go to a catfish place, but it closed a few years ago. They have the usual assortment of fast food.
