We never made it to Arkansas last year, so we are going to try again this year. I have 2 teenage boys who want to fish, and we want a cabin by the water. It seems Gastons%26#39;s is the recommended fishing resort, although pricey. Are there grocery stores located near Gaston%26#39;s Resort and Bull Shoals Dam so that you can save on the expense of restaurants and do your own cooking or are there cheaper restaurants in the area someone would recommend?

Gaston%26#39;s is a good choice! Boat is included in price. As far as grocery stores the nearest are in Mountain Home (approx 20 min). They have a SuperWalmart as well as other stores. I would recommend doing your own cooking as the cottages are furnished with cooking basics. The only meal I HIGHLY RECOMMEND at the restaurant is the Sunday Brunch. You can eat enough there for the whole day!!!
