Hotels near Alltel Arena

Looking for hotels within walking distance.

Hotels near Alltel Arena

I know the Wydham Riverfront is close to Alltel, I think there is another, but I cant remember what it is. You can definately walk from the Wydham.

Are you going for a concert of other event?

There are trolleys that run from Little Rock to NLR near alltel and you could stay at the Peabody or Double Tree.

Also, sometimes for events they provide buses...im not sure about this though.

you really don%26#39;t want to walk around the area where the arena is, It really is a bad neighborhood. I would stay in the peabody, and drive, the river market is near the peabody and is safer to walk around.

I just returned from Little Rock. The Comfort Inn Downtown is just south of the arena on I-30; they run a free shuttle around the area until 11:00 p.m. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it is clean, recently remodeled, and reasonably priced.

I%26#39;ve been to many events in Alltel Areana and would%26#39;t hesitate to walk to it from the Wyndham Riverfront. This is a first class hotel with excellent restaurants. The ';bad neighborhood'; referred to is not where you would be walking.

oldcpa has it correct. Although Alltel was not built in the best of neighborhoods, the immediate area surrounding it towards the Wyndam is nice and during an event there will be lots of other people walking around in the same area, plus usually police and security presence.

just wanting some updated info on this topic? best place to stay within walking distance of alltel arena? or is it not a safe place to walk? going for the ncaa tourney in march, so i%26#39;m sure there will be lots of people around there.

Wyndham will shuttle you to the arena if you%26#39;re scared. I have to say, I go to Altel all the time, I%26#39;m in that area a lot...the walk from Wyndham to Altel, if you go out Wyndham%26#39;s door, turn North then go East along Broadway, no problem. If you go out the door, turn South and go East along Washington, you%26#39;re going to be scared if it%26#39;s dark and there%26#39;s not a lot of people around. It passes under a railroad track through a dark culvert and right by the greyhound bus station. But you%26#39;re very unlikely to get mugged either way. And there will be people everywhere during an event.
