Pretty much anywhere in Little Rock is not too far from North Little Rock - they are basically the same (just cross the bridge). There arent any hotels I know of right next to Pulaski Tech. The closest hotels are the ones just off interstate 40:

Hampton Inn

Howard Johnson

Motel 6

Country Inn and Suites

Travelodge

These should all be inexpensive hotels. If it were me, I would stay in downtown little rock (peabody, double tree, courtyard by marriott). But the downtown hotels will be more expensive.

Anything interesting to do will be in Little Rock. The rivermarket area in downton is the ';cool'; part of town. There are lots of restaurants, bars (I reccomend the flying saucer, underground pub, willy d%26#39;s piano bar), etc. The Clinton Library is nearby. On Saturdays there is a really nice farmer%26#39;s market in the morning. What kind of activities are you looking for?

saaber, If you have access to Google Maps type in W. Pershing %26amp; Main

North Little Rock. If you get the map you%26#39;ll see that Pershing leads into Scenic and the route to Pulaski Tech. There are a number of motels on Pershing. You would also be close to Sir Lions Inn which is a decent steakhouse. Going south on Main you%26#39;d have easy access to Little Rock and the River Market Area. For information of downtown Little Rock go to this web site:

Also Saaber might want to look in the McCail Mall area of North Little Rock where there is a Holiday Inn Express (501-945-4800), (501- Hampton (501-753-8660) and several others. This area is a little further away from Pulaski Tech but the lodging is a little newer than the Pershing area motels and the area is perhaps a little safer and definitely has more to do. There are a great variety of mostly mid-range chain restaurants, movies and a large number of shopping choices.

Yes, there is the new Hooters of Little Rock over on McCain in NORTH Little Rock! What is up with that?

well, I have eaten there twice,,, The girls all need to go and eat a burger or something, they all look twelve...And the food is over priced ,, Four chicken strips for $6.99 and nothing comes with it, And THe buffalo chicken strips across the street at chili%26#39;s are way better. There is a new texas road house grill across the highway and it has girls from the wait staff that dance around when a fun song comes on...Food is good though. There%26#39;s a red lobster , a olive garden, shorty small%26#39;s, johnny carino%26#39;s, us pizza company, outback steak house, I hop, mc donalds, wendy%26#39;s, tia%26#39;s mexican food, Tgi fridays%26#39;, barbeque, ci ci%26#39;s pizza, fire mountain grill and buffet, (stay far away)..Pizza hut . All in the same small area around mccain mall..

I just can%26#39;t figure out why the Hooter%26#39;s of Little Rock is in North Little Rock? We (my husband and I) had found the perfect location for a Hooters in Little Rock but this other franchise beat us to the area...

I remember a Hooter%26#39;s in Little Rock YEARS ago. It fell flat :)

because they sold liquor to an under age minor, and they were involved in a deadly crash. So they went under because of that.

I didn%26#39;t remember about the sale to a minor (or the fatility) , but I%26#39;m sure the sale wasn%26#39;t a first - either for that restaurant or for others. I do know that a successful restaurant wouldn%26#39;t have been forced to close over an issue like that. As I recall, Hooter%26#39;s wasn%26#39;t doing a very good business.

It may be in part because after the newness of the hooters wears off, they food was just not as good as it could be..They are kinda pricey....They were also located in west little rock, more church like people, but there is a fantasy fashions in the same strip mall now, and they sell all kids of grown up toys.....

here%26#39;s a bit i just found..

It opened April 10, returning Hooters to the market for the first time since the well-known national franchised closed a store on Rodney Parham Road in the early 1990s following a fatal automobile accident involving an under-age driver leaving the parking lot.
