Trip Review

Just got back from a relaxing four-day weekend on Beaver Lake %26amp; in Eureka Springs. We stayed at the Beaver Lakefront Cabins (www.beaverlakefrontcabins.com) %26amp; was completely thrilled with the beautiful cabins and remarkable view. The service was excellent %26amp; non-intrusive. This is definitely a lovers getaway.

We ate at the Horizon on Friday night. It was brutually hot but we chose to eat outside with the little bit of breeze. The food was excellent - I had some sort of chicken dish while my husband had the seafood pasta dish. Both were EXCELLENT!! The service was attentive.

On Saturday, we ate at Rouge%26#39;s Manner - supposedly the best restaurant in Eureka. We were not happy (the steak was completely overcooked). We took everything in stride %26amp; did enjoy the cheesecake %26amp; chocolate moose at home.

I also did a facial at the Crescent on Saturday - really great service %26amp; a wonderful peaceful place.

Sunday was Italian food at Ermilio%26#39;s. It was excellent. The service was wonderful %26amp; a very quaint place!!

We were sick to leave our hide-away on Monday morning but finally dragged ourselves away at check-out time.

We will definitely return to Eureka Springs.

thank you for your review. we%26#39;ll be in that area the first week of Nov. and have booked a cabin there too. Glad to know it is as nice as it sounds.

the dining reviews were helpful too. eating in strange places is a joyful adventure we look forward to, but having a heads up helps alot. Rogues Manor had gotten mixed reviews on trip advisor and now we will probably not go there unless it was maybe a coffee and dessert. Emilios gets raves every time as does the Horizon.

My partner and I stayed at Beaver Lakefront Cabins in Eureka Springs Arkansas. We will forever be comparing accomodations on future travels to this place. The beautiful view and quiet surroundings make you never want to leave the property. The owner and management have taken into consideration every need and want you may have. Amenities include a first class jacuzzi tub (candles and champagne provided) with huge, private window overlooking the lake, a fully decked out kitchen, fireplace, deck with rocking chairs, hdtv, the most comfortable bed (quality linens and pillows) we%26#39;ve ever slept in, sliding glass doors with amazing views! The little things made it even more memorable, hummingbird feeders, fishing poles, a very nice boat dock (complete with barbecue grill and seating) with an indoor fishing area (that provided free food to feed the turtles and fish), barbecue grill (charcoal provided) on our private deck. How can I forget the privacy sign that ropes off the private deck leading to the suite, free complimentary breakfast, free movies available in the office. Contemporary, inviting decor. We%26#39;re already planning our next stay!
