Park Hotel

Don%26#39;t even consider staying here. The rooms are dingy, paint in bathroom was peeling, and the room just gave a terrible impression. I wouldn%26#39;t even take a shower and was tempted to stay on the tour bus instead of trying to sleep in that awful place. Undergoing renovations---maybe will be liveable by 2020.

Park Hotel

I agree with you Corncob. I%26#39;d prefer to take my family to the historic hotels in Hot Springs rather than newer places but the management of the Park, Arlington, Majestic and others have never invested enough in them to make them good quality properties. The City should look for ways to float bonds or whatever it takes to save their history.

Park Hotel

I disagree with you. This is my second time here since the new owners took over in August. Between the the two trips I have made at the Park Hotel, I have seen great improvement. I commend the new Proprietors for doing so much in such a short time.

My advice to you is next time you are in Hot Springs, better have a Rolls Royce instead of bus to sleep in because it will be the only thing to come close to the experience of sleeping at the Park Hotel of Hot Springs.

I have stayed at the Park Hotel over the years many times. I like the location. On my last stay it was nice to see all the improvements. I think it is now going to be one of the nicer places in Hot Springs.

If I go to a Historic City like Hot Springs. I prefer to stay at a real Landmark then a cookie cutter hotel or motel. Otherwise what is the point. When I was young my buddy saw a Jag sports car and said he wanted to own it. I said I wanted to be it.

The new owners should get a medal for what they have done. Happy Trails

AMEN!!!!

This nightmare nearly ruined my first trip to Hot Springs. Yes, the renovations might be done in 2020, but my money is on a BIG wonderful bulldozer putting this hideous place out of its misery.
