I will be in Little Rock at the end of Oct. on business. I am looking for a really nice restaurant where I can get some ';local fare.'; Perhaps some freshwater fish? Not BBQ, Cajun, chicken fried steak, etc. Thanks!

Brave New Restaurant! The restaurant is nice, especially if you can sit on the balcony. Peter Brave knows how to cook fish - there%26#39;s nothing in Little Rock that can compare to what he does.
Not only that, but Peter Brave serves shrimp from that company he has in Southeast Arkansas. Local shrimp inland - it%26#39;s a novel concept.
Nu is the city%26#39;s ';in'; restaurant and the chef there is always serving up something adventurous. Highly recommended.
Nu and Brave New Restaurant are both good restaurants, but my personal favorite is Loca Luna. Great food and a good atmosphere!

Brave New is open for lunch and dinner, but not on Sundays. Pretty traditional hours, I would think, probably 5:30 - 9:30 for dinner, it can be crowded on fridays and saturdays, so expect a wait.
