We are buying a boat from a marina in Greers Ferry. We are driving from Arizona and need a place to vacation (with 2 teenage boys) and are wondering where a good place to stay is. We will want to dock the boat near our accomodations. We have never been to AR and need direction on where to stay and things to do.
Greers Ferry
There are several vacation rentals on greers ferry lake, that are rent by owners. You could have a lake house with a boat slip. There%26#39;s not a lot of things to do around that area other than lake related activites. But if your into boating and fishing , you can;t beat greers ferry for beauty and the fishing is great, There are several state parks to enjoy.
Here%26#39;s a rental on the lake that is three bedroom with two bath and a boat slip.

Some good side trips would be to Little rock , to see the river market and the clinton museum. It takes around an hour and forty minutes to drive from greers ferry to little rock.
Also there is Branson missouri, it is just over the border into missouri and it is famous for it%26#39;s shows and two theme parks, and is right next to two lakes, table rock lake and lake taneycomo, which has trout fishing. It%26#39;s a great place to vacation, It has really affordable hotels, camping sites, great food, and shopping.

It takes around three hours to drive there from greers ferry. But I think you would really like it, it has alot more to do than greers ferry.

I will be happy to help you if you need more info on anything.
Greers Ferry
I figured there wouldn%26#39;t be a whole lot to do right there in Greer%26#39;s Ferry. We will do the lake things and then take off to Memphis or maybe into Missouri! I will check out the vacation rentals that you suggested for the surrounding areas. That sounds better than a hotel room.
Thanks for the direction and information.
