The most unromantic place in Arkansas

BonnyBrookeFarms was the biggest disapointment of our frequent visits to Eureka Springs. We reserved the Barn at BonnyBrooke and that is just what it was. It looked quaint from the outside but, the inside was not up to our standards. It was not the cleanest or best keep place. The Tv was outdated, the toliet rocked when you set upon it, the sheets were thin. There was an unpleasnt odor emitting from the bathroom. About the only thing good you could say about the barn was the view was ok.

To top everything you had to pay in advance and there was no refund. We reserved two nights but, left after the first night. Thus loosing an entire night which wasn%26#39;t cheap.

There ad talks of wanting to stay until the cows come home, I think by the odor the cows never left home. Won%26#39;t ever go back to the most unromatic place in Arkansas!

I%26#39;m sorry your accommodations in Eureka Springs were so disappointing! Let me recommend Sherwood Court cottages if you decided to make another visit. It is exceptionally clean, very quiet and relaxing, and the cottages provide much privacy, unlike a hotel/motel. We spent three nights there in Patio Delight cottage the first week of July and I can%26#39;t say enough nice things about the accommodations or the owners. Each cottage is decorated diffently and there is even one that is done up like a charming log cabin. Hope this will be of help to you!

Sorry to hear you were disappointed. That%26#39;s always a bummer.

Don%26#39;t give up on Eureka. Next time try Cliff Cottage Inn right downtown. You feel like you are way out in the country and yet it%26#39;s just 17 steps down to Main St. and all the neat shops and restaurants. They have several houses all in a row and each has two jacuzzi suites so you have a nice degree of privacy. They deliver the breakfast so you don%26#39;t have to get up and eat with a bunch of strangers -- you can have breakfast in bed! We saw an article in Southern Living that said Cliff Cottage%26#39;s breakfasts are not to be missed and they are fabulous.

You might also try cottages of Eureka on your next stay, they have the cobblers cottage %26amp; rosewood cottage.

It is a nice clean place to stay at a reasonable rate. They even have 1 suite that has a full kitchen %26amp; a Jacuzzi.check them out at www.eurekacottages.com

I too have stayed with Bonny Brooke Farms vote most romantic and I agree I was also disappointed in the stay.

I too would definitely recommend you try Sherwood Court on your next visit to Eureka Springs. The accommodations are wonderful, and so clean you can%26#39;t imagine. The owners Nick and Renate are exceptional folks and are there to answer any and all of your questions. Give them a try, you won%26#39;t be disappointed!
