Mexican Food in Little Rock

Can anyone recommend a great Mexican restaurant in Little Rock?

Mexican Food in Little Rock

I haven%26#39;t lived there for a couple of years, but my favorite was always El Porton. Be sure to get some queso!

My favorite is La Hacienda on Cantrell.

Go to the Vegas forum...little rock people post there too

If you%26#39;ve got kids with you, Casa Viva at Asher Avenue and University in Little Rock is the place to go. It has lots of atmosphere, a special room for the kids with games to play. They have child%26#39;s plates and for the adults, their Deluxe Plate is an all you can eat deal. Everything on it is very good and you can raise a little flag on your table and get refills of everything, food, punch and other drinks, free. After your Deluxe Plate, raise the flag again and they will bring you hot Sopapillas with honey. They also have salads and other entrees that are equally good but the Deluxe Plate can%26#39;t be beat.

There are no great Mexican Restaurants in Little Rock. Save your money and eat one night at one of the few real good places in town, like Brave New Restaurant.

Sadly, I have to agree with Jim. I%26#39;ve been watching these responses for a while and I just can%26#39;t think of ANY good Mexican restaurants in Little Rock. I also agree with him about Brave New Restaurant, though I doubt it%26#39;d appeal to someone looking for Mexican food.

The good news is that this post is 6 months old, so I%26#39;d have to assume the initial poster has already visited Little Rock.

Senor Tequilas in Colony West, Rodney Parham at

Breckenridge is the best Mexican food in town!

Wonderfu margariettas, fast and freindly service,

and the best tasting food, all at resonable prices.

Absolutely no attitude, just a fun place that even

the kids seem to enjoy.

It%26#39;s not in Little Rock but Mi Burrito in Maumelle (off Maumelle Blvd) has very good Mexican food (and I don%26#39;t really even like Mexican food!). The food is good, free chips and salsa, and the prices are very affordable.

Great Mexican food, in Little Rock???? LOL!

Nuff said!!!

Good Lord, all these posts and not a mention of Juanita%26#39;s at 13th and Main. This IS the best in town although not authenic Mexican but good Tex-Mex.
