There is currently a wide variety of new construction in Maumelle, as there has been for the past 10 years. I don%26#39;t know what you consider ';upscale';, but the new construction on Odom Blvd. South looks promising. I like that Maumelle has tightened the regulations on commercialization. So many of the areas in west Little Rock are so clogged with traffic that getting anywhere is a nightmare.

Go west on Ark. Highway 10 (Cantrell) and see how this area has boomed in just the last couple of years. Upscale? Yes Most all the new residential developments are expensive especially Chenal Valley and the Ranch. In both of these homes are available from over $1 million plus. There are also a nember of fine white tablecloth restaurants in the area.
