Hot Springs in Late December...

We were thinking about going to Hot Springs in late December as something different. What is the weather like then? We%26#39;d like to bring our medium-size dog with us. He%26#39;s well-behaved. Are there places that take that size dog?

Hot Springs in Late December...

I%26#39;m late answering this, but someone else may benefit.

We went for Thanksgiving, 2004, and spent 5 days in a cabin on Lake Hamilton. http://www.fivepointslakehamilton.com/

We%26#39;re from New Orleans, and we found it COLD, but it was great! The cabin was really nice, the area where the cabin is located was beautiful, and our dog was welcome (provided he was crated when we were out).

One of the things we thoroughly enjoyed was visiting the holiday light display at the Botanical Gardens. It was freezing and I had to drag the other 3 out into the cold, but once we got there we all enjoyed it so much.

I will also be going in late December to be married at the 1884 Wildwood house. The wedding date is set for New Years day and I%26#39;m stoked. I am a little worried about the cold being from Thibodaux, LA but I just got back from Ohio and nothing could have been worse than that for the time of year it was. I%26#39;ll have to suck it up for my pictures outside though hehe. Are there any suggestions of things we definitely should do the day before the wedding and the 2 days after? I have never seen mountains before so what would be good to include that? We also wanted to go horseback riding but I think the house is setting that up somewhere. Thanks for the info
