wedding chapel

Is there a glass wedding chapel in Eureka springs or surrounding area?

wedding chapel

You%26#39;re probably referring to Thorncrown Chapel, a famous wood and glass structure just outside Eureka Springs. It%26#39;s not a ';wedding chapel'; in the sense of those in Vegas and elsewhere, but a chapel in the woods that%26#39;s popular (extremely)as a site for weddings. In other words, don%26#39;t expect a secular or non-Christian service More info at http://www.thorncrown.com . It%26#39;s become so popular that the owners have had to build another larger ';worship center'; on the same grounds to accommodate larger weddings and groups than the original chapel can manage.

Thorncrown won tons of architectural awards around the time it opened in 1980. The architect, Fay Jones, was already a nationally known figure and was head of the well-regarded architecture program at the University of Arkansas.
