The weather in september is usually still quite warm. The nights can get chilly, But I think for the most part it should still be warm enough. Also I wouldn%26#39;t think the park would be to crowded in september. If your going labor day weekend it might be. but other wise , I really don%26#39;t think so.

Agree with Fordarama: You should not face big crowds in September and the weather is still pretty good for swimming. Go as early in September as you can. As you probably know they are open 11-6 on Saturdays in September and 12-6 on Sundays. My only tip is to never pay full price at Magic Springs. You can get discount tickets several places - Walgreen%26#39;s for example saves you about $6.50 per ticket.

AWSOME thanks for the info guys, do you have any other tips I should be aware of?

where are you staying in hot springs? Some places are alot better than others, And Hot Springs is kinda pricey for it%26#39;s size.

The horse track has casino style gameing , as well as simulcast raceing to bet on. The live season starts in feb thru april.

The fall is the best time to visit Arkansas, A little less humid, a little cooler..

If the weather does not cooperate with your visit to Magic Springs, and you have kids with you, check out the Mid America Science Museum. It is on the other side of Hot Springs. They have a circus exhibit currently where they fit kids with harnesses and they can walk tightropes and do bungee bouncing. They have a cave kids can go through and a flight simulator. The downtown tourist bureau has some advertising booklets which normally have discount tickets for the museum. The museum also waives admission if you should by chance be a member of other museums. We all got in free due by showing our card for the Discovery Museum in Little Rock.

NO kids just My woman and I.

I am over 30 but love doing kiddie things such as roller coasters, zoos, museums and the like. That museum though sounds like its geared more for real kids ;)

We want to camp, in a tent. We love tent camping. I read the national park doesnt have bathhouses/showers or electric and water. We can do without electric and water but we HAVE to have showers!

Like I said we love zoo%26#39;s/ nature and history along with cheap thrills like roller coasters. Cant wait to try out the new x-coaster!
