Family Reunion spot? Help! Never been to Eureka Springs

Our family (15-17 people of all ages) is looking for a family reunion spot in the Eureka Springs area. We enjoy fishing, swimming, some hiking, shopping. Is there a nice resort on a lake in the area that could provide this? Thank you for any help!

This is a little east of Eureka Springs in Calico Rock, but meets all of your listed requirements.

My choice for this would be Gaston%26#39;s which is on the White River, so it%26#39;s a little out of your range for Eureka Springs. However, they have a number of nice cabins, and a big lodge that my family has used numerous times. The lodge has private rooms, and then a kind of common space with nice fireplace, etc. There is an excellent restaurant on site, or you can cook your own by using grills or kitchens provided in the rooms. I wouldn%26#39;t think of this as a shopping destination, although we go to Mountain Home some. We do love the fishing, golf, and the hiking.

Eureka Springs is definitely your choice for a family reunion. I would say the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks would be your best bet. They are only 15 minutes from the lake, and located right next to the downtown shopping district. The swimming pool and large arcade area are favorites of our family. Good luck on your search!

There is a place called Red Bud Valey Resort (www.redbudvalley.com) that has what you are looking for. We just love it there and Eureka. They have cabins, 3 1/2 miles of walking trails and a small, stocked lake with access to horseback riding. Eureka is filled with many beautiful places.
