Pine Bluff

My husband is considering accepting a position in Pine Bluff at the Arsenal, are there more inviting/scenic communities to live in within a 10-20 minute driving distance?

You really don%26#39;t want to live in pine bluff.It is a really poor city, with some really bad crime. The arsenal is located in the community of white hall, just on the out skirts of pine bluff. It%26#39;s not much to look at, but it is safer than pine bluff, It has one grocery store, a sonic, several churches, a city park, The school district is good, . I lived a few miles north of there in Redfield. It to is also a small town, but it is a good town. I never locked my doors when I lived there, ever. My father in law still lives there. It is the same school district as white hall. If you go south of pine Bluff, it is nothing but poor farming areas. Not very pretty. You might want to consider west little rock, It is the better area, nicer houses. But it would be a kinda long drive to work, but he could stay on the interstate all the way. It is really the only area that I would recommend in Little rock.It alot prettier with hills and valleys. The richer people live there. Little rock would be a least a 30 minute drive. I live in cabot north of little rock, my husband%26#39;s job transfered from pine bluff to a town above cabot called searcy, He was driving 145 miles a day to work from redfield, so we moved from redfield ,. But is is a safe town. There is also a town just north east of Pine bluff called sheriden, it%26#39;s also a small town,But a fairly safe town. North of little rock is where our state really starts to get really pretty. If you move here, try to get to Hot springs arkansas sometime, it is a fun area to see, it a former gangster town back in the day, with casinos and the like. It has history. Pine Bluff

I agree...DO NOT live in Pine Bluff. It is a terrible place with lots of crime. I am from Sheridan (about 30 minutes away). It is small but safe. Close to LR (45 min) and Hot Springs (1 hr). You may also want to look into White Hall (just outside Pine Bluff)..I think it is better.
