We are looking for a dude ranch type of vacation with our teenage son. He is open to staying in a cabin on a lake so long as there would be horseback riding nearby. We are all little to no experience in riding, he would like to eat on the trail, is interested in hiking and other outdoor type of activities. There will be just three of us.
Any suggestions that are family oriented and not too terribly expensive? Our trip will be the week of March 17th.
Thank you.

I%26#39;ve been to panthervalleyranch.com for a ride. We did a nose-to-tail ride since we had beginners with us. Not sure if they give lessons or not. It was a nice looking area. It might be what you want.
This site has a bunch of different listings for you to check out and compare prices and etc...: arkansas.com/places-to-stay/dude-ranches
Have fun!!!
