Van parking and dining

My wife and I are traveling to Texas in February. We are looking for a reasonable place to eat and a place to park our van to sleep (camp ground, RV park). We%26#39;re taking our time and at present plan on stopping at Forrest City and then Sheppard,AK. This is a comforable distant for us to travel. I%26#39;m afraid I%26#39;m stumped on this one. I know where Forrest City is, but have never heard of Sheppard. Can%26#39;t find it in the index of my Arkansas map either. For sights to see, what are your interests? Hiking, wineries, museums?

Sheppard is just a community, not a town, located nine miles SW of Hope on US Hwy 67.

Kei Mar, I see you%26#39;re interested in the Civil War. While you%26#39;re in Arkansas you%26#39;ll be very close to Old Washington State Park which is located ten mile north of Hope. Here%26#39;s the web site:
