Has anyone ever rented the Hospitality House in Burns Park? Need some info on it,would it be a good place for a sweet 16 birthday party. Offices for Burns Park have been closed for the holidays, and I can%26#39;t get anyone to tell me about it.
Burns Park Hospitality Housebeen to the racquetball courts and pavillion type picnic areas for bbq and volleyball. haven%26#39;t ever rented the house there. but here is a link that gives a detailed list of available activities in that area: nlrchamber.org/community/tourism.aspx
that seems odd that a city facility would be unreachable for so long. wish you good luck with your plans.
Burns Park Hospitality HouseI have not rented the Burns Park Hospitality House nor been inside recently; however, in response to a recent Trip Advisor forum query about a place to rent for a family reunion, I contacted a friend who runs a convention-related business. Her first recommendation in the area for a rental facility for a small to medium-sized gathering where on-site catering is not required, was the Burns Park Hospitality House. She said it is a nice facility with plenty of free parking and reasonable rates. The only problem she mentioned was that it stays booked and she advised to reserve it well in advance. As to how to get someone to respond: I would call the following numbers in this order: 501-791-8537 (Burns Park reservations); 501-791-8538 (Burns Park Director); 501-791-8591 (Parks Director); 501-340-5302 (Mayor Pat Hays) - (if you truly get no response from the Parks people after the holidays, explain your problem to the Mayor%26#39;s secretary and she will usually find someone to assist you).
Bowlingforme: I can see your problem. I tried all the Parks numbers and received voice mails at each. I%26#39;d call the Mayor%26#39;s secretary and politely explain how long you have been trying to get through and see if she can have someone call you back.
